# Blog rich text

Long-form **blog** body block: optional section heading, rich text body, optional single visual, CTAs.

**Prefer this** for new and lab blog posts. Do not use Case study rich text for blogs.

## What it looks like

Full-width section with standard vertical spacing. Section heading uses calm **blog** section scale (`h2`). Page H1 is on **Article hero** (blog hero layout).

Body uses the centred blog reading column (`.rtf-blog`) — even block rhythm, not case-study `pt-40` paragraph spacing. Optional single media uses embed gap classes including `rtf-embed`. Multi-image pairs still use sibling **Separated visuals**.

## Typography

- **Heading (CMS)** — `h2` section scale; never display `h1`
- Body — `.rtf-blog` column (`laptop:col-span-6 laptop:col-start-4`)

## Used fields

Same as Case study / Article rich text: `cmsLabel`, `anchor`, colours, `heading`, `preHeading`, `postHeading`, `body`, `visual`, `links`, `additionalCopy`, `icon`.

## When to use

- New blogs and lab blog multi-block posts (`articleType` blog)

## When not to use

- Case studies → **Case study rich text**
- Legacy production blogs still on Article rich text → leave until migration
